Abstract

     Choosing teaching content that meets the need of the general education program is one of the important tasks of teachers. In the general education program in Mathematics, most of the requirements to be met in the lessons are related to the application of mathematical knowledge and skills into practice. In this article, I propose two types of practical problems, built on the basis of existing practical problems or based on mathematical models. The design process and illustrative examples are presented for teaching Mathematics to 9th grade students in Vietnamese secondary schools.
