CURRENT STATUS OF LOCAL EDUCATION TEACHING AND FESTIVAL THEMES IN HANOI IN CURRENT HIGH SCHOOLS

Abstract

    The policy of including local education content in the general education program demonstrates the correctness and timeliness of the Ministry of Education and Training when recognizing the necessity of educating consciousness, ideology, and understanding of students about culture, history, geography as well as updated information about the economic and social situation of the locality where they live and study. However, the implementation of teaching local educational content in Hanoi city, including festival content at educational establishments, still has many problems. Using analysis, statistics and in-depth interviews, on the basis of comparing the content of festival teaching at the current elementary level, the author clearly points out the issues raised and proposes a number of recommendations for teaching and learning festival content in the Hanoi City Local Education program will be deployed synchronously, consistently, effectively and usefully for students in high schools in the capital in the coming time.
