Uniform fragmented characters in John Maxwell Coetzee's novels

Abstract
John Maxwell Coetzee is the winner of the 2003 Nobel Prize in Literature. Coetzee believes that society is fragmented, chaotic and incomplete, so the people living in it are also imperfect and become broken and imperfect. Therefore, fragment characters occupy a large number, becoming one of the unique artistic features in Coetzee's novel. This research focuses on interpreting the fragment character in Coetzee's novel in terms of similar fragments ranging. From there, it contributes to exploiting and explaining human tragedies in life; At the same time, we can see the writer's uniqueness in building characters.
