Abstract
Truong Chi Hung is one of the typical young writers of the Mekong Delta Literature in the early 21st century. Among the literary genres he composed, memoirs are unique. Truong Chi Hung's memoirs are cultural, reveal depth of contemplation and suggest various issues. By primarily applying a combination of interdisciplinary methods, analysis - synthesis methods, and systematic methods, we interpret the sense of nostalgia in the memoir Man mac Vam Nao by Truong Chi Hung from a cultural perspective, concentrating on the aspects: the model of nostalgia and the expression of the sense of nostalgia. The research results demonstrate theoretical and practical significance. In theory, the research consolidates some issues about the sense of nostalgia. In practice, the research interprets the expression of the sense of nostalgia in the memoir Man mac Vam Nao by Truong Chi Hung from a cultural perspective. This contributes to proving that the sense of nostalgia is the dominant sense, playing a pivotal role in developing the emotional circuit and creating cultural character for the work.
