Abstract

Ginger essential oil (Zingiber Officinale Roscoe) is a precious medicinal herb widely used in traditional medicine. The chemical composition of Ginger essential oil was analyzed by chromatography - mass spectrometry (GC/MS). The results identified 25 components, of which the main components include Zingiberene (30.82%), β-sesquiphellandrene (11.96%), camphene (8.73%), β - phellandrene (7.86%), α-farnesene (6.4%) and E-citral (6.11%).
