USING OPEN-SOURCE SOFTWARE DSPACE TO MANAGE DIGITAL INFORMATION AND DATA AT THE INFORMATION CENTER – LIBRARY AND LEARNING MATERIALS, HANOI METROPOLITAN UNIVERSITY

Abstract

The article introduces the open-source software DSpace, the role and
outstanding features of DSpace, states the current situation of storing digital information
and data at the Information Center - Library and Learning Materials, Hanoi Metropolitan
University. At the same time, we also provide a solution to apply the open-source software
DSpace in managing, exploiting and sharing digital information and data sources at the
Information Center - Library and Learning Materials, Hanoi Metropolitan University.
