EDUCATING GLOBAL CITIZEN FOR SECONDARY SCHOOL STUDENTS IN HANOI: OPPORTUNITIES AND CHALLENGES

The article has generalized the most common features of the context that leads
to the need of launching and implementing global citizen education in the world in general
and in Vietnam in particular. It also includes scientific and practical foundation for
educating global citizens, and several problems directly related to the implementation of
global citizen education for students at secondary schools in Hanoi. All of these contributions
help to spread global citizen education in Hanoi to other provinces in the country.
