EXPLOIT CULTURAL VALUES IN THE CONTEXT OF TOURISM DEVELOPMENT IN SOUTHERN VIETNAM

Abstract

Culture in Southern Vietnam is exhibited by such things as religious diversity,
unique traditional customs, festivals, literature, arts, cuisine, fashion, transporatation, and
more. These kinds of valued cultures have not only created a positive environment and
condition for tourism to develop, but they also decided the size, types, quality, and
effectiveness of touristic activities. How has the department of tourism of the South
exploited these valued cultures in recent years? During this exploitation of culture, has it
given rise to increasing problems? What are the solutions for the effective and sustainable
exploitation of cultural values in Southern tourism in Vietnam? This article will propose
some answers for these above questions
