Abstract

In the current economic climate, supporting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) plays a particularly crucial role in Vietnam's economic growth. Although the State has issued numerous legal documents stipulating various forms of support (financial, scientific and technological, innovation, startup, legal, etc.), significant challenges still exist in putting these regulations into practice. This is especially true in ensuring fair and effective access for all SMEs. Through this article, the author will analyze current legal provisions, highlight their limitations, and subsequently propose several solutions to improve the legal framework for SME support in Vietnam today.
