Abstract

The Law on Handling of Administrative Violations 2012 (amended and supplemented in 2014, 2017, 2020, 2022, and 2025) stipulates that minors aged 14 and above who commit administrative violations shall be sanctioned in accordance with the law. Among various areas of state management, road traffic is one of the fields with a high number of administrative violations committed by minors. This article analyzes the legal provisions on administrative sanctions imposed on minors violating road traffic regulations, identifies certain shortcomings, and proposes solutions for improvement.
