LAW ON HANDLING OF UNFAIR COMPETITION RELATED TO BRANDS

Abstract

At present, the provisions of Vietnamese law on sanctions against infringements of industrial property rights, including acts of unfair competition related to trademarks, are relatively adequate; however when going in practice, these regulations are not comprehensive and cover all violations. Therefore, it is absolutely necessary to improve the legal system of sanctions on unfair competition related to trademarks, and meet practical needs in dealing with unfair competition acts related to trademarks which are increasingly complicated.
