COPYRIGHT TO THE TRANSLATIONS IN U.S. LAW AND VIETNAMESE LAW

Abstract

Translation will make it easier for citizens of this country to have access to literary and artistic works of other national. From a legal perspective, the translation is a derivative work, related to the author's right protection of both the original and the translation. In this article, the author analyzes the international standards for the protection of translation, the regulations of the United States and Vietnam. On that basis, it is recommended to improve Vietnamese law on the protection of translation.
