CUSTOMER COMPENSATION LIABILITY UNDER VIETNAM LAW

Abstract

Law on the protection of consumers' interests in 2010 has been in place for nearly 10 years, creating a legal framework to protect the legitimate rights and interests of consumers. One of the contents is the compensation of damages (compensation) for consumers. However, over a period of time of application, besides achievements, the provisions of the law on compensation for consumers have gradually revealed certain limitations and problems. Through this article, the author will analyze the advantages and disadvantages of the current law on compensation of damages for consumers, thereby offering solutions to improve the law and improve the effective enforcement of the law on compensation for consumers.
