DETERMINANT FACTORS OF THE INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY COMMERCIALIZATION IN UNIVERSITIES

Abstract
Universities are considered as the sources of new knowledge and pioneering technologies based on highly trained researchers. Intellectual property management has been concerned about for a long time in prestigious universities around the world. Nevertheless, the intellectual property management capacity of most universities in Vietnam still remains limited. This issue could have adverse impacts on the commercialization of the scientific research results and at the same time the reinvestment of scientific research in universities. The article focuses on clarifying the decisive factors that are effective in successful commercialization of intellectual property in order to find out solutions to improve this performance for universities.
