CITY WITHIN CITY MODEL IN SOME COUNTRIES AND SOME RECOMMENDATIONS FOR VIETNAM

Abstract

This article analyses following issues: Firstly, a general overview of the concept “city within city” is presented to identify its benefits and legal challenges in establishing appropriate management framework. Another issue is analyzing the city within city model in some countries such as China and the United States which have the effective and successful governance. Lastly, mentioning to the city within city model in Vietnam and giving some suggestions for Vietnam such as the transparent legal system, a government with appropriate governance and civilized community.
