Abstract

The article provides some overview of self-employed workers in the Gig economy, and at the same time focuses on analyzing the current legal status of some countries regarding the legal status of this group of workers. On that basis, through the assessment of the current situation of Vietnamese legal regulations, the article makes a number of proposals to contribute to improving labor law in determining the legal status of self-employed employees in the gig economy                in Vietnam.
