Research on the sterilization and formation of in vitro callus of desmodium unifoliatum bonsai in Song Hinh 86 (Desmodium unifoliatum (Merr.) Steen.)

Abstract

This study was conducted to investigate the effect of Javel concentration and sterilization time, nutrient medium, α-NAA concentration of callus formation process. Results showed that Desmodium unifoliatum (Merr.) Steen. sterilizing with Javel concentration 50% for 8 minutes was found to increase the survial rate of 78,89%. The best callus (85,56% and 8,27 mm) with ½ MS medium added with 30g/L sucrose, 8,0 g/L agar and 0,7mg/L α-NAA.
