SỰ XÂM NHẬP CỦA YẾU TỐ BIÊN KHẢO VÀO TRUYỆN (trong văn xuôi đô thị miền Nam giai đoạn 1954 - 1975)
Abstract
Compiling works and stories (including novels, short stories, long stories) are not identical in nature and do not seem to have any special relationship. The main features and ways of expression of these two types are different: compiling works write down and explore the facts and highlight the reliable truths, whereas stories are mainly based on artistic imagination. However, through the surveys on the prose of Southern urban Vietnam, stage 1954 – 1975, the researcher came to a remarkable finding that in many fiction works, there is some clear intervention of the compiling factors. These characteristics have been shown quite consistently in several authors’ works and have created a typical trend in prose. The article does not research in depth the theoretical reasoning for the forms or styles of the writers but presents a survey on the above-mentioned phenomenon as an issue belonging to the field of historic literature.
