Some epical verses by the ethnic minorities in Phu Yen province

Abstract

Phu Yen province is the area where Chi Lơ Kok epical verse has been passed from generation to generation. Chi Lơ Kok, Xing Nhã and the Gong sound of Mr. and Mrs. Hơ bia Lơ Đă are the three variants of the same epical verse. Chi Lơ Kok has much reflection in many aspects on the land, the people and the society of the ethnic tribes such as Êđê, Bana and Chăm in Phu Yen province. Chi Lơ Kok fully expresses all the artistic features of the epical verse art form.
