A lignan compound extracted from the barks of Taxus wallichiana Zucc. (Taxaceae)

Abstract

From the F fraction of the dichloromethane extracted on the barks of Taxus wallichiana Zucc (Taxaceae), collected in the province of Lam Dong, a lignan compound was isolated, called (-)-matairesinol. The chemical structure of this compound was determined by 1D and 2D NMR spectra and compared with the published data.
