The transformation of some vowels in the dialect of the South Central and its consequences

Abstract

The dialect of the South Central is among the ones which have the clearest vowel transformation. Based on the research in this transformation, the article proposes some comments about its consequences, especially about the fact that some vowels have completely lost in the Vietnamese vowel system.
