The loneliness obsession in the works of Yasunari Kawabata House of the sleeping beauties and Sound of the mountain
Abstract
Yasunari Kawabata (1899 - 1972) is considered as one of the most well-known authors in contemporary literature. He is not only famous for the first Japanese to receive the Nobel prize in literature review but also for his beautiful works that bring about the deep understanding of people condition. This article focuses on analyzing the loneliness obsession reflected in the novels "House of the sleeping beauties" and "Sound of the mountain".
