The issue of child sexual abuse viewed from the incidents and cases in Phu Yen province

Abstract

Child sexual abuse has been an alert issue and needs attention by the entire society. The assistance from the authorized government bodies, social organizations and unions only alleviates partially the pain in the body and spirit of the children and their families. Completing the laws on handling child sexual abuse behaviors is an important step in the process of ensuring children’s rights, one of the human rights for the vulnerable groups in society, as stated in the 2013 Constitution.
