Western theater styles and their influence on Vietnam during the period 1945 – 1975

Abstract

In the twentieth century, many schools of drama appeared in the Western countries. In addition to the French classical theater, there were existential - absurd theater, dialectical narrative drama, socialist drama and the Stanislavski theater system... These schools all had strong influence on Vietnamese theater during the period 1945 - 1975, including the composition activities of the playwrights and the actors' acting.
