Assessment of geological resources for tourism on visiting and experiencing geological values associated with rock cultural heritage in Phu Yen province

Abstract

The paper assesses the geological resources associated with rocks in Phu Yen according to the value system based on the four following criteria: geological diversity values, aesthetic values, unique – original values and accompanying values to determine the advantages of this form of resources for tourism development. Based on which, some orientations are proposed to exploit the values of the geological resources in Phu Yen for tourism development, creating a unique tourism products of the locality.
