APPLICATION OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE IN AQUACULTURE
Abstract
The application of artificial intelligence in fisheries, particularly in aquaculture in the Era of Revolution 4.0 is essential for enhancing aquaculture production, as well as lowering costs, laborers and preventing diseases. Currently, Internet of Things (IoT) and machine learning are being interested and applied by scientists and farmers in certain stages of the aquaculture. The universal application of IoT is to monitor water quality in aquariums, tanks, ponds, and cages, as well as to control the amount of food in aquaculture system. On the other hand, popular applications of machine learning are to measure fish size, aquatic disease identification, sex determination and many other applications in Viet Nam as well as in the world.
