Organization of music self-study activities for Primary Education students at Phu Yen Univeristy
Abstract
The Music subject in the primary teacher training program has high requirements in both theory and practice, aiming to equip students with complicated competencies, such as well performing musical pieces and applying them effectively in teaching later on. However, the survey results revealed that primary education students at Phu Yen University still do not spend much time on their self-study activities. This article systematically synthesizes the forms of self-study used when learning music, aiming to help students hone their skills and techniques in expressing musical giftnesses in learning as well as in other social activities and effectively apply them in the process of professional development of students after graduation.
