Abstract

In recent years, Sa Pa has emerged as one of the fastest-growing tourist cities in the northern mountainous region of Vietnam, with a particular strength in its natural landscape. However, this rapid development has also simultaneously increased the conflict between economic growth and environmental landscape degradation. In this context, it is necessary to view the landscape not simply as a resource to be exploited, but as a social asset, embodying ecological, cultural, historical, and identity values.
