Urban Green Space Development Trends - Lessons Learned for Sa Pa City
Keywords:
, ,Abstract
Urbanization is an inevitable process for socio-economic development. This process gradually leads to the loss of natural spaces due to construction and urban infrastructure. Natural spaces are gradually shrinking or unevenly distributed; in particular, natural space in the central area of Sa Pa is a luxury despite being surrounded by mountainous landscapes.
Therefore, transforming these areas into green spaces not only improves the urban landscape and restores the natural ecosystem but also creates opportunities for new public spaces in converted areas or interstitial land. This solution contributes to the sustainable development of tourism space in Sa Pa in the face of global warming pressures and the practical needs of the community and society today.
