Abstract

STATE MANAGEMENT OF RELIGIOUS AFFAIRS

IN SOME SOUTHEAST ASIAN COUNTRIES

Vietnam and other countries in Southeast Asia have policies and measures to regulate religions based on the principle of respect for religious freedom and religious harmony in order to assure sustainable development. To ensure this, the views and policies on religion play an important role in the political system of these countries in general, and in Vietnam in particular. This article examines the State management of religious affairs in some countries in the region with religious diversity like Vietnam in order to indicate references to the State management of religious affairs in Vietnam.
