Prospects of the Development of Religion in the World

Abstract

Human society in XVI century will face challenges and changes in many aspects. Religion as an integral important part of the social ideological formation, of course changes together with the social development. It also undergoes great challenges and changes. The article refers to relations between religion and science, politics, nation and society. The contemporary scientific and technical development has created an opportunity for a rapid propagation of religions throughout the world. Despite a compromise and reconciliation between science and religion, because of their inherent differences, each development step of science is also a challenge toward religion. Religion will develop its influence toward XXI century as it has developed its influence toward the human life in XX century. The restoration of traditional religions and the birth of new ones will be a continuing process. In the human history, the use of religions for political goals has occurred and therefore in XXI century one can't hold light the role of religion in political struggles. Interrelations of national and religious problems will remain a hot spot and a dilemma that the world in XXI has to show due concern.
