Developing Human Resources for Socio-Economic Development

Abstract

In the context of globalization and international integration, the country’s socio-economic development is always of top concern of the Party and State of Vietnam. Human resources, among others, contribute to the economic growth of each country and play a decisive role in socio-economic development. Therefore, the views of the Party and State are guidelines for all sectors and fields. The paper presents the theoretical basis for human resource development and clarifies the Party’s viewpoints and orientations on this work as well as the current situation in Vietnam. It thereby offers some solutions on human resource development in Viet Nam in the current period.
