Developing Sustainable Community Tourism in Cao Bang Province

Abstract

Cao Bang province has unique and rich resources and suitable tourism investment policies, especially in the form of community tourism. The local government has currently been building a strategy for sustainable community tourism development, contributing to creating sustainable livelihoods for local people, developing the economy, and effectively preserving local cultural values as well. The article clarifies the potential of community tourism in Cao Bang province, analyzes the current situation of sustainable community tourism development therein, points out the remaining limitations, thereby proposing a number of solutions to further promoting tourism to become a provincial key economic sector.
