Abstract

Dam Phuong and Simone de Beauvoir are pioneering figures in the feminist movements of Vietnam and France, respectively, despite their distinct cultural and historical backgrounds. By comparing the feminist ideologies of these two prominent thinkers through the lens of the historical and cultural context of Vietnam and France, this article emphasizes the significance of recognizing both the similarities and differences in women’s experiences and perspectives worldwide. Such recognition is essential to fostering a more comprehensive understanding of feminism.
