Vietnamese Literature in the Early Twenty-first Century: Approach from the Perspectives of Authors

Abstract

For each literary period characterized with different regulations of social life, cultural context, succession and continuation of generations of writers, living and writing space, the consciousness of authors, writers and their styles of writing will have certain characteristics. Exploring the literature of the early decades of the 21st century from the perspectives of authors can uncover features of literary composition, from the reflection of artistic consciousness and creative practices to the literary life within a cultural space with specific socio-cultural conditions and mechanisms. The article investigates the authors’perspectives on Vietnamese literature in the early twenty-first century, identifying some features of literary life inspired by the subjects.
