Developing High-quality Human Resources in Vietnam in the New Era

Abstract

In a new era with the strong development of globalization and the Industrial Revolution 4.0, advancing high-quality human resources has become a key factor determining economic growth and competitive position of each country. Despite of having young, abundant workforce with the ability to absorb technology quickly, Vietnam has faced such limitations as inconsistent training quality, lack of soft skills, proficiency of foreign languages and creative thinking. Compared to developed countries, Vietnam needs to improve its educational system, enhance practicality in training, and apply modern technology to human resource management and development.
