Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences Carries out Its Mission of Serving the Country's Development in the New Era of Growth

Abstract

Established in 1953, after 72 years of formation and development, the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences has made numerous outstanding contributions to the study of national history and cultural origins; providing scientific arguments and policy advice in determining models and orienting development paths; ensuring sustainable development, territorial sovereignty and national security; proactively integrating internationally while protecting the Party's ideological foundation and national cultural values. The achievements and contributions of the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences have affirmed its special mission, which is to provide strategic advice to the Party and State, conduct policy research, and protect the Party's ideological foundation,are extremely convincing evidence to refute all wrong arguments and doubts about the role and independent position of the Academy. In the era of national rise, the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences has been further innovating and improving its comprehensive capacity to continue affirming its mission as a leading basic research and policy consulting organization to make greater contributions to serving the country's development.
