Poverty reduction in the Chams’ region in Ninh Thuận and Bình Thuận provinces
Abstract
Recently, although the production and poverty reduction in the Chams’ region in the provinces of Ninh Thuận and Bình Thuận have made significant progress, it has not achieved the desired results. Especially, it is not commensurate with the existing potential and resources of the region and of the Chams. The article analyzes, assesses the situation of poverty reduction in the Chams’ region in two provinces of Ninh Thuận and Bình Thuận. Based on that, it poses some problems for policy and production practice, poverty reduction in the Chams’ region in these two provinces. With recommendations for solution, the article directs the deployment of ethnic policy of the Communist Party and State of Vietnam as well as the provinces of Ninh Thuận and Bình Thuận on the Chams, comprehensive Cham regional development in terms of politic, economic, culture, society, security, defense...Downloads
