Cultural capital as internal power for the country development
Abstract
Culture has been early recognized as a pillar in sustainable development in Vietnam and definitely indicated in the resolutions of national congresses of the Communist Party. However, the role of culture as a pillar of sustainable development or as a resource for the country's sustainable development hasn’t been quantified. By applying related theories (theory of sustainable development, theory of cultural capital, theory of cultural identity, theory of value and value system), this article regards culture as an internal resource for the country and nation development - the imperative and crucial issue of Vietnam in the context of market economy, industrialization, modernization and international integration.Downloads
