Abstract

Entering the 21st century, Japan has been thriving in their transition process from a ‘brown’ to a ‘green’ economy characterized by high technology content, less labor and fossil fuels consumption, and limiting carbon emissions by appropriate economic measures. Such a transition model could provide several lessons for Vietnam in the process of greening the economy.
