Digital Transformation and Initial Research on People’s Awareness of Digital Transformation on Social Networks

The term “digital transformation” hasrecently emerged in the world including Vietnam. Vietnam’s national digital transformation program is aimed at adapting to the Fourth Industrial Revolution. Despite a newl definition, digital transformation and its context have been drastically changing the way people live, work and interact with each other. The article initially clarifies the term “digital transformation”, Vietnam’s digital transformation program, then summarizes and analyzes people’s awareness of this process by collecting public opinion on social networks. Some recommendations for increasing people’s participation in the digital transformation are thereby off ered.
