Outcomes of Policy Implementation Towards Small Ethnic Minorities in Vietnam

Ethnic policy has always been interested and focused on by the Party and the state of Vietnam, with three principles of “equality”, “unity” and “mutual assistance”. In addition to general policies for 53 ethnic minorities, from 2010 to the present, a new set of policies has been promulgated for the conservation and development of small ethnic minorities, covering all areas of their social life. The article presents a systematic overview of key policies, programs, and projects of the Government, and evaluates the results and limitations of the implementation of those policies in selected aspects.
