Abstract

As one of the world’s largest coffee exporters, Vietnam’s coffee production is exerting significant pressure on the environment with substantial net emissions. To mitigate these impacts and meet market demands, businesses need to transition to sustainable coffee production. The paper analyzes policies of some of the world’s leading coffee production companies regarding net emissions reduction, thereby proposing solutions for Vietnamese enterprises, namely, enhancing the role of farmers, adopting sustainable farming practices, and utilizing renewable energy sources.
