Abstract

The book ”Environmental problems in the process of industrialization and modernization,” based on the results of the National Research on Social Sciences No. KX.02.10 ”Social and environmental issues in the process of industrialization and modernization,“ was compiled from 2001 to 2005. The research, mainly edited by Professor Dr. Vu Huy Chuong with the assistance of a group of scientists, is hoped to provide scientific explantions on environmental protection policies and to help resolve the conflicts between economic growth and the environment.
