Official recruitment and training in King Quang Trung’s time and implications for today

Abstract

The article delved into thinkings and policies of talent recruitments in the dynasty of King Quang Trung who was virtuous, talented, and made significant contributions to the country defence and development in the second half of the 18th Century. The article triggers nowadays’ readers many precious lessons through the “human strategy”, the strategy and policy of “human deployment” that King Quang Trung utilized during his short reign (1788-1792). King Quang Trung’s thinking and policies of talent recruitments and training that time convey not only political meanings, but also full values of such strategies through all times.
