Labor migration to China in the northern mountainous region of Vietnam - causes from the perspective of international migration

Abstract

Migration in general and international migration in particular are complicated debate topics. From the perspective of international migration, the paper uncovers causes of current labor migration to China of Vietnam’s ethnic minorities in the northern mountainous region through a qualitative research in Ha Giang and Lang Son provinces.
