The recently impressive development of enterprises in Can Tho city, the center of Vietnam’s South West, has affi rmed the city’s increasing role as the region’s development driving force. Based on the 2011-2018 Enterprise Survey data, the research analyzes the current situation of enterprise development in Can Tho city, identifying the issues that need to be addressed in order to strengthen and promote the role of Can Tho city as the region’s growth driver.
