Abstract
To monitor the evolution of the increase in heat of the thermal environment in areas with rapid urban development, the article uses the form of visualizing the change in land surface temperature in Binh Duong province over 4 periods of time from 1995 to 2024 by building a WebGIS page thanks to the open soursce technology GeoServer combined with the PostgreSQL database management system that allows storing, managing and importing and exporting geospatial data. Experimental results show that the WebGIS interface built in the form of a Dashboard has created a friendly user experience with the most general overview of the components and functions of the Web page and is considered as a tool for managing land surface temperature information that is encoded visually in the form of displaying map layers and statistical charts. The WebGIS page in the article is used quite effectively in providing land surface temperature group information for each district in Binh Duong through the attribute query function and at the same time has the ability to integrate with spatial data to help quickly determine the location of the area to be searched on the map. Thereby, this WebGIS page is considered as a convenient tool and a premise to contribute to supporting the monitoring of the thermal environment in general and the monitoring and management of natural resources and the environment in particular in the context of current climate change.
