Discussing the legal conditions for granting copyright to artificial intelligence in artistic works

Abstract

In practice, there has been a growing emergence of artistic works created by artificial intelligence. However, both international and Vietnamese laws have yet to establish specific regulations addressing the issue of granting authorship or protecting these works. This article focuses on analyzing the recognition of copyright for artificial intelligence in the field of painting, aiming to contribute both academically and practically toward finding legal solutions to the issue of copyright in particular and intellectual property rights in general for artificial intelligence within the territory of Vietnam.
