Monitoring risks and durability failures of concrete using iot technology. International experience and development orientation in Vietnam

Abstract

This paper presents an overview of the application of IoT technology in concrete durability monitoring, an important area in infrastructure construction and maintenance. Traditional methods for assessing concrete durability are often costly, time-consuming, and destructive. However, with the development of IoT technology, real-time and non-destructive monitoring of concrete durability has become more feasible and effective. This paper also includes case studies of IoT applications in concrete monitoring, international experiences, and proposed development directions in Vietnam.
